此題型有兩個解決方法，答法一就是選擇同意或者不同意 。答法二就是選擇大程度上同意，即是以較大篇幅解釋為何同意，然後以較少的篇幅解釋為何不同意。究竟什麼時候用哪一種答法呢？如果題目問及的是一些爭議性比較低的問題，是一些很多人都會同意的道理。那麼我們就應該選擇答法一。我們看看這條問題吧:
Nowadays, full-time university students tend to focus on their studying. Some people think it is essential for them to be involved in other activities. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
問題講述現在全日制大學生傾向於專心學習，有些人認為這些大學生參與其他活動也很重要。學生應該在讀書外參與多方面的活動，發展多方面的興趣，這其實是老生常談。所以我們可以用agree or disagree的框架作答。
不過，如果題目問及的是一些富爭議性的問題 (controversial issues)。那麼我們就應該選擇另一個框架作答，為確保我們有足夠東西寫，我們應該選擇大程度上同意(agree to a large extent) ，建基於這個立場，我建議同學應該寫兩個同意的原因，和一個不同意的原因。
我們看看框架。首先第一段寫引言，然後，第二段，寫同意的原因；第三段，寫同意的第二個原因，第四段，寫不同意的原因，

Some people think the main purpose of schools is to turn children into good citizens and workers, rather than to benefit them as individuals. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
對於這個問題，每個人都有不同的看法。所以，這是屬於一個爭議性比較大的問題。而對於這個爭議性比較大的問題，我們會選擇很大程度上同意的框架來回答。我們現在來具體看看範文是怎麼寫的吧。
Sample Essay
[1] It is pointed out by some people that schools mainly serve to transform children into good citizens and workers, instead of benefitting them as individuals. I agree to this statement to a large extent.
[2] To begin with, schools are good places for instilling children with correct moral values, making them good citizens. Nowadays, many schools offer moral and civic education lessons. Teachers inculcate in children moral values such as honesty, respect, kindness and tolerance for people of other religions and races. These values play an important role in making children become good citizens and prevent them from being led astray.
[3] Besides turning children into good citizens, schools can equip children with essential skills for their future workplace. Nowadays, it is beyond dispute that people with proficient language skills and excellent analytical skills are highly sought after by companies. Teachers educate students on various kinds of subjects, such as English and Mathematics. As such children can increase their competitive edge and will have higher chances of obtaining good employment in future.
[4] Despite the above-mentioned points, it is argued that extra-curricular activities can benefit children as individuals. They enable children to acquire different types of skills beyond academic knowledge. Sports activities such as tennis and basketball can enhance children’s physical ability, while sedentary extra-curricular activities such as participating in debate teams and writing for school newspapers can train their team spirit.

在範文的第一段，也就是引言當中，這篇文章選擇了自己的立場，也就是很大程度上同意。就像文章中的句子 ‘I agree to this statement to a large extent’。
按照第二種回答方式，第二段應該是寫同意的第一個原因 ，學校是向孩子們灌輸正確的道德價值觀，使他們成為好公民的好地方。也就是文章提到 ‘Schools are good places for instilling children with correct moral values, making them good citizens.’
然後第三段寫同意的第二個原因，學校還可以為孩子們將來的工作提供必要的技能。也就是文章提到的 ‘Schools can equip children with essential skills for their future workplace.’
接著第四段寫一個不同意的原因，這篇範文認為除了學校課堂上的教育，課外活動對孩子們個人也是有好處的，即 ‘Extra-curricular activities can benefit children as individuals.’。
從整體上看，這篇範文是嚴格按照上面所說的第二種回答方式框架來寫作的。整篇文章看上去，給人感覺思路非常的清晰，一點也不含糊，而且看文章的人也知道你是很大程度上同意題目表達的觀點。
