Introduction to Task 2
這個IELTS Writing Planner目的是希望給大家一個明確的方向複習IELTS Writing。根據我以往的教學經驗，IELTS Writing是很多考生比較弱的地方。之前也有很多同學問我如何準備這一份卷。現在是時候把我多年的教學心得和大家分享。
首先，我希望大家可以至少有十日時間溫這一份卷。而且，編寫這個IELTS Writing Planner的時候，我已經假設同學已經有一定的英文文法基礎，所以不會特別教英文文法。有興趣學習英文文法的同學可以去收看我其他影片。
現在，我想說IELTS Writing Planner的編排， IELTS Writing Planner的結構分為三部分，每一天，我希望同學可以學到實用的考試技巧，也可以學到拿高分必備的實用寫作詞彙和句子結構。
說到這裡，或者有同學會問既然單IELTS Writing單就要讀這麼多東西，是否要花費很多時間呢？這其實視乎你本身的英文程度。
Reasons and Solutions Questions
這類題型的解決方法比較直接，先寫問題的成因，後寫建議解決方法。如果要考取高分，建議學習多種表達原因和建議句型。大家先看看這類型題目的寫作框架吧。
首先，第一段改寫問題。然後寫出這個問題有兩個成因和解決方法，There are two reasons leading to the problem and there are two solutions to it. 這句子不是必須的，如果你的沒有什麼要寫的話，就可以寫這句子，令考官知道文章之後的內容。之後我會再教你其他寫法。Introduction我建議同學寫大約25字。在這裡順帶跟大家講，每教一個框架，每一段我都會建議同學在有限的字數完成。同Introduction一樣，Conclusion 我建議同學寫大約25字。
第二段考生就要寫造成這個現象的第一個原因。 很多同學表示不懂如何構思文章，現在教你一個方便快捷的思考方法，就是用個人社會模式思考。意思就是，某種現象出現，其中一個原因是個人做成的，另一個原因就是社會做成的。這段字數大約50字。
第三段考生就要寫出解決問題的方法。這段字數大約50字。
第四段寫第二個原因，這段字數大約50字。第五段寫解決問題方法，這段字數大約50字。
最後一段，就要寫總結。這段的字數大約25字。
我們看看這條問題吧。
Many offenders commit more crimes after serving the first punishment. Why is this happening, and what measures can be taken to tackle this problem?
這條題目與Crime and Punishment(犯罪與懲罰)有關，Crime and Punishment這個topic經常會考，建議同學熟讀有關方面的詞語。

Sample Essay
[1] A lot of ex-prisoners commit crimes again after they have been released from prison. While these ex-prisoners are responsible for their wrongful behavior, the lack of support from the government also contributes to this sad phenomenon, and it is believed that both ex-prisoners and the government can improve the situation.
[2] It goes without saying that these ex-prisoners are responsible for their repeated offending. Most prisoners are not well-educated, so they have difficulty securing a decent job and having a stable income. Most of them, if not all, can only do odd jobs for a living. As a result, many of them struggle financially. Therefore, some of them are tempted to commit crimes again in order to support themselves. Moreover, these ex-prisoners are lacking in self-discipline and perseverance. In their desperate need for money, they succumb to the temptation of re-offending.
[3] Apart from the ex-prisoners’ shortcomings, the lack of support from the government also contributes to their reoffending. Sadly there is a lack of rehabilitation opportunities for the ex-prisoners while they are serving their sentences. Prisoners are not given a chance to acquire new skills for their future career development. Because these ex-convicts have not acquired sufficient training, not many employers are not willing to employ them. Feeling frustrated and useless, some ex-prisoners have no choice but to turn to crime again.
[4] To tackle the above-mentioned situation, both the ex-prisoners and the government have important roles to play. To begin with, the ex-prisoners need to have faith in themselves. They should be convinced that they can turn over a new leaf, despite their past wrongdoings. More importantly, the government has a paramount duty to provide prisoners with adequate vocational training and instil them with correct moral values, so that the prisoners can integrate into society after they are released. In conclusion, it is believed that ex-convicts will have fewer chances of reoffending provided they are well-trained and have more self-discipline. (About 320 words)
這條題目問為什麼釋囚出獄後會再犯罪，而且問有什麼解決方法。我們可以立即應用個人社會框架就能構思兩個原因。首先，就從個人因素開始，大部分釋囚本身教育程度低，而且他們容易受到誘惑，所以很容易再犯罪。
原因二，就是政府的支援不足，政府沒有為釋囚提供足夠的康復機會。The government does not provide enough rehabilitation opportunities for prisoners. 而且你也可以說社會大眾的歧視也令他們感到心灰意冷，重蹈覆轍，例如你可以指出一些前僱主對前罪犯有偏見Some employers are prejudiced against the ex-convicts.
最後我們要根據之前的原因寫出對應的解決方法。雖然我之前說過解決方法可以分兩段寫，但同學可以因應情況靈活一點，如果時間不夠，而且解決方法不是太多東西要寫的話，其實用一段寫就可以了。 釋囚方面，可以寫他們應該對自己有信念，相信自己可以洗心革面，即是文中They should be convinced that they can turn over a new leaf, despite their past wrongdoings.至於政府方面，首要職責是為囚犯提供適當的職業培訓，並向他們灌輸正確的道德價值觀，以便使囚犯獲釋後能夠融入社會，即是文中the government has a paramount duty to provide prisoners with adequate vocational training and instil them with correct moral values, so that the prisoners can integrate into society after they are released.
